Dorothy Sander is a writer, philosopher and counselor who specializes in providing support, direction and inspiration to women over forty as they face life changes and transitions. Dorothy began to devote herself full time to writing about the time she turned fifty, when her children left home and she decided to it was time to focus on her own dreams instead of everyone elses. "Something about turning fifty and all of the change and upheaval that goes on in most women's lives around that time and was going on in mine was just what I need to shake up my life and set it on a new path ~ this time in the direction of my heart's longing. Mid-way through life is a perfect time to re-invent yourself! You see the end just around the corner and so you're highly motivated!" she said.
Dorothy's articles, short stories and poetry have been published widely both online and off. She writes on a broad range of topics, from home improvements to issues relevant to women over 40. Several websites feature her articles and blogs on a regular basis. You will find them listed in the articles section.
A popular editor with new writers, Dorothy provides support, encouragement and sound advice to anyone who is trying to break into the writing and publishing market. Her skill as an editor is exceptional and her students find her to be a supportive and gentle teacher.
